              RECENT BLOG ENTRIES
Sigurd Hole´s work as a composer and musician examines different ways of experiencing and listening to music, embracing a curious attitude towards sound as such. He has recieved world-wide critical acclaim for his solo and ensemble works in a wide range of media, and is constantly working on new creative ideas and projects.
Projects in 2025 include concerts with Extinction sounds, Lydreise and Sigurd Hole trio featuring Trygve Seim and Frode Haltli, compsing a new piece for accordion, double bass and hardanger fiddle with Frode Haltli and Helga Myhr, adapting Roraima for chamber orchestra in a new version commissioned by the Trondheim soloists, as well as composing a larger work for string quartet and double bass commissioned by the CIKADA quartet.
