MISTEKUNST (The Art of Losing) is a musical and poetic monologue about loss, defiance, and transformation. From the depths of a personal breakdown, a man turns toward a canonized chaos beyond himself: the occupation of Palestine and the genocide to which we continue to bear witness with apathy. He seeks refuge in an iconic struggle where generations of people have been forced to master the art of losing. In his encounter with Palestinian poetry, despair is transformed into a will to live.

The performance interweaves autobiographical material, poetry, fiction, historical and contemporary events, with original music performed by five double bass players.
